Stephanie Watson has been a consumer health writer for more than 20 years. She has a bachelor’s degree in mass communications from Boston University, and has completed TV/radio and copyediting workshops at Stanford University and the University of California Berkeley Extension. She is a member of the Association of Health Care Journalists.
Her work has been featured in several print and online health publications, including WebMD, WebMD Magazine, Healthline, Greatist, Everwell, SurvivorNet, YourCareEverywhere, and Arthritis Today. She is the former Executive Editor of Harvard Women’s Health Watch and Mount Sinai School of Medicine's Focus on Healthy Aging. In addition, she has written more than 30 works of young adult nonfiction, as well as numerous special health reports for Harvard Medical School and Tufts University.
