Dr. Allam's Biography — Dr. Troy Allam, D.C. Doctor of Chiropractic I was born in Michigan and grew up in Houston . I graduated from University of Houston with degrees in Biology, Chemistry, and History, and graduated Parker College of Chiropractic with a Doctorate of Chiropractic with additional studies in Neurology, Pediatrics, and Applied Kinesiology. Although I have taken many outside study courses, I believe that learning never ends, and I continue to take new classes and expanded my knowledge of the human body and its function. I decided to become a chiropractor several years ago after having severe pain in my knee. This was a result of a sports injury and followed surgery and rehab. A friend of the family recommended a chiropractor which they had gone to before. The chiropractor was able to relieve the pain in the knee and restore my knee function. At the same time he was able to help my allergies and headaches. Through all of the sports and activities that I've been a part of, I have always been a chiropractic patient. I have been a patient for over 20 years and chiropractic has helped me maintain my health and body during that time.
