Project C.U.R.E. and Healthgrades Partner to Show Gratitude for National Doctors’ Day
Centennial, Colo. - March 30, 2021 - To help celebrate National Doctors' Day, Project C.U.R.E. and Healthgrades are partnering to invite consumers to ‘Thank a Doctor’ and leave their healthcare provider a written review on healthgrades.com. For every 1,000 written reviews approved on healthgrades.com, Healthgrades has pledged to donate $1,000 (up to $10,000 total) to Project C.U.R.E. to support COVID-19 relief.
Project C.U.R.E. has been delivering life-saving medical equipment and supplies to hospitals and clinics worldwide. On average each week, Project C.U.R.E. delivers three to five semi-truck-sized containers packed with the medical equipment and supplies so desperately needed by local hospitals and clinics in resource-limited countries. Since March of 2020, Project C.U.R.E. has also been supporting the tremendous need domestically for PPE and equipment to fight COVID-19 and has provided more than $3.5 million in aid to date, which equates to 4.5+ million pieces of PPE for frontline and healthcare workers.
“We are thrilled to participate with Healthgrades in raising money to fight the COVID pandemic around the world. Both of our organizations have their early roots in the mountain community of Evergreen, Colorado. It is fun to see our paths cross yet again. Truly, our two organizations are deeply committed to improving healthcare across all communities,” said Douglas Jackson, PhD, JD, President & CEO, Project C.U.R.E.
“Over the past year, doctors have been on the front lines of this pandemic and tirelessly working to keep our families and communities safe. We are encouraging consumers to show their appreciation of their healthcare providers by leaving a review on healthgrades.com,” said Brad Bowman, MD, Chief Medical Officer, Healthgrades. “Combined with our partnership with Project C.U.R.E., we are proud to support the ongoing COVID-19 relief efforts and recognize healthcare workers efforts and dedication during this unprecedented time.”
Consumers can submit a review with a comment for healthcare professionals through April 30th for it to be eligible towards a donation to COVID-19 relief.* Learn more about Healthgrades ‘Thank a Doctor’ challenge here and write a review for a doctor on healthgrades.com.
