Dr. Feder is very professional and knowledgeable. He takes an authentic interest in his patients and stays with them to answer any questions. For afternoon appointments, the wait to see him is longer than during morning appointments, so I would recommend scheduling morning appointments. He is an excellent doctor, though.

Dr. Feder has outstanding credentials and expertise, but more importantly, he is a genuinely kind & compassionate person. I am very squeamish about anything relating to eyes, but he was extremely understanding and reassuring when I needed cataract surgery; he accommodated my terror without making me feel foolish. He is also a superb educator -- both in that he regularly incorporates medical students into the eye clinic, and also in that he is very willing to explain things to me.

Horrific experience. After cataract surgery, and never had before surgery: - dry eyes -nerve palsey -excessive tearing -numerous floats some very large obstructing vision -retina tear -partially blocked tear duct -triple vision at night with ghosting - double vision all the time (hitting nerve during surgery - Had to have YAG surgery -blepharitis -white scaqrs forming on iris -thousands of dollars in new glasses because he couldn't get the prescription correct -
