Nature of Complaint:
The physician's Rhode Island medical license was placed on probation for a period of three years and the physician was ordered to pay a fine in the amount of $500.00 on 07-25-2008 by the Rhode Island Board of Medical Licensure and Discipline. The Rhode Island Board took this action because the physician failed to report to the Rhode Island Board that the physician's hospital privileges at Westerly Hospital were placed on probation related to call responsibilities.
The West Virginia Board of Medicine subsequently took reciprocal action on 02-10-2009 against the physician's West Virginia license issuing the physician a public reprimand.
