Care Philosophy

University Retina is engaged in the practice of medicine specializing in diseases and surgery of the retina, vitreous, and macula. We specifically specialize in the treatment of age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal detachment repair, retinal vein occlusions, and other disorders of the retina, vitreous, and macula. We currently see patients at two main locations: Burbank, Illinois and Oak Forest, Illinois. Our offices are handicapped accessible and equipped with state-of-the-art diagnostic tools. Fundus photography, fluorescein angiography, indocyanine angiography, and ultrasoundography, laser treatment, certain types of retinal detachment repair, and intravitreal injection therapy are all available on-site. We offer state-of-the-art treatment options as well including intravitreal injections, computer navigated laser surgery, photodynamic therapy, cryotherapy, and other major retinal procedures.
