Dr. Powers then becam interested in cardiology, the function of the heart and the various things that can hurt the heart or cause chest pain(www.fliqz.com). ** Dr. Powers is currently interested in interventional cardiology, which deals with patients who have blockages of arteries which supply blood to the heart. Interventional cardiology involves making diagnoses of these patients and treating them with techniquest such as balloons and stents. Other areas of interest for Dr. Powers include congestive heart failure and function of the heart. Dr. Powers is dedicated to finding the best treatment for each patient to ensure the best outcome.
