    Nature of Complaint:

    The osteopathic physician was selected for a random audit regarding the amount of continuing education the osteopathic physician received during the 04-01-2006 through 03-31-2008 biennium. The osteopathic physician failed to provide proof that he completed forty hours of continuing education during the licensure audit biennium.

    Action Taken-Final Order-Counter Settlement Agreement

    1. The osteopathic physician shall pay costs in the amount of $1,542.13 within twenty-four months.
    2. The osteopathic physician shall complete forty hours of the required continuing medical education that the osteopathic physician did not complete. The osteopathic physician shall complete forty hours of American Osteopathic Association Category 1-A courses including two hours of risk management, two hours on Florida Laws and Rules, two hours on the Use and Abuse of Controlled Substances, four hours on the Prevention of Medical Errors, and two hours on Domestic Violence within twenty-four months.
    3. The osteopathic physician shall appear before the Board upon request.
