Nature of Complaint
On or about July 12, 2010, the physician was indicted by a Wilson County grand jury on one count of felony murder, one count of perpetration of aggravated child abuse, one count of aggravated child abuse and four counts of child abuse, stemming from the death of her four-year-old daughter.
Action Taken
The physician entered into a Consent Order with the Tennessee Board of Medical Examiners in which the physician agreed to the Suspension of her Tennessee Medical License # 42798, pending further orders of the Board.
The Board takes this action in order to protect the health, safety and welfare of the citizens of the State of Tennessee form potential harm.
