I just had my right frozen shoulder fixed by Dr. Bare and his team. The only negative thing I have to say about the whole thing is that I wish I hadn't waited so long to get it fixed! He gave me my arm back! PT is extremely important after this surgery (MUA with arthroscopic clean-up), and the therapists at Cadence Ortho are amazing, too!

Among many disappointments, Dr. Bare did not meet with my family before a loved ones surgery leaving us uncomfortable from the get go. We waited during surgery much longer than we were told with no update. Dr. Bare told us he made 2 small incisions but it turned out my family member had one very large incision. There were also complications during the surgery that we were not told about and my loved one found out almost 2 weeks later at the first post-op appointment. Would not recommend!!

Went to see this "Dr" for second opinion. In 6 months of him seeing me he said Frozen shoulder. I entrusted in his word! In his notes he failed to put discoloration and other symptoms. Finally he states do surgery. I asked for more tests to be done but, he chose not to. Well, now I have stage 2 CRPS due to nerve injury.NVR should have ha surgery. This "DR" is the only one who did not put all my symptoms before and after surgery in his notes. Even his PA had symptoms in notes and PT! Avoid Dr

After years of experiencing bone on bone joint pain, I decided to use Dr. Bare to perform my knee replacement surgery. I made this decision after witnessing my sisters amazing recovery process from knee replacement surgery by Dr. Bare. From the very first time that I put weight on my replacement knee, I was totally amazed that my historical sharp joint pain was gone. I did experience some pain from the incision and related muscles but nothing compared to the past joint pain.

Dr. Bare has done 2 surgeries for me.. One knee replacement and rotator cuff repair. If I had to I don't think I would be able to find a doctor that I like better.I have a friend who sits on a board of Physicians at Rush Hospital in Chicago. He too recommended Dr. Bare to me. He explains things, is very patient, LISTENS, has no "better than you attitude", he's very intelligent yet talks to you so you can understand what he is saying. I will go to NO OTHER doctor for orthopedic needs. The Best
