In addition to offering traditional PM&R services, such as electromyography, nerve conduction studies, ultra-sound guided peripheral joint and nerve injections, and sports medicine therapies, he will be expanding services to include regenerative medicine techniques with platelet rich plasma (PRP) and stem cell therapy for a myriad of conditions including osteoarthritis and tendinopathy.Dr. Patel is also trained in traditional interventional pain techniques, including all cervical, thoracic, and lumbar injections, radiofrequency ablation, spinal cord stimulator trial and permanent placements, as well in intrathecal placement of pain and baclofen pumps.His current interests revolve around regenerative medicine techniques to treat chronic pain conditions and injuries that have not responded to traditional, conservative care.
