Nevada’s largest and most famous city is Las Vegas, with its casinos and world-famous nightlife. But outside Las Vegas, there’s also a lot to see. The Hoover Dam, south of Las Vegas, draws millions of visitors each year, and it’s considered a national historic landmark. Just as impressive is Lake Mead, created when the Hoover Dam was built.
