Description

Immunopathology is the laboratory study of diseases of the immune system. An immunopathologist is a pathologist with expertise in determining the causes of disease by studying cells, tissues and body fluids in the laboratory. The pathologist interprets tissue samples under a microscope, and aids the physician in diagnosing, monitoring, and treating patients’ diseases or patients who have had organ transplants.

Montgomery is the capital city of this southern state, though Birmingham is its largest city. Population in 2005 was 4,557,808. Alabama is the birthplace of historical figures Hank Aaron, Helen Keller, and George Washington Carver.
