Inova Mount Vernon Hospital is a 237-bed, full service, not-for-profit hospital serving the historic Mount Vernon community and southeastern Fairfax County since 1976. We are part of Inova Health System, the region’s leading health care provider, serving the diverse Northern Virginia community for more than 130 years. Inova Mount Vernon Hospital specialized services and programs are consistently ranked among the nation’s best by accreditation agencies and others. Inova Mount Vernon Hospital (IMVH) is home to the nationally recognized Inova Rehabilitation Center, a 67-inpatient rehabilitation center providing a wide range of programs and services within the rehabilitation arena. Our hospital is also home to the largest, acute care hospital joint replacement program in the mid-Atlantic region. The Inova Joint Replacement Center (IJRC) provides over 1700 joint replacements annually and boasts of excellent outcomes. IJRC provides joint replacement services to patients from 31 countries and all 50 states.
IMVH features the region’s only Wound Healing Center and Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Unit. New state-of-the-art diagnostic technology ensures the most advanced medical care possible, delivered in a compassionate, patient-centered environment.
