Creighton University Medical Center is an academic medical institution, teaching tomorrow’s health care professionals while striving for excellence in diagnosis and treatment today. We provide our patients with the highest level of care, 24 hours a day, and remain driven by our passions for teaching, learning and research. We care for some of the region’s sickest patients, smallest babies and most complex injuries and illnesses. Our trauma center is one of the oldest and busiest in the state, and we offer one of the region’s only freestanding facilities dedicated to cardiac care. We were ranked No. 1 in Omaha for Overall Cardiac Services for four consecutive years from 2002 to 2005. Creighton University Medical Center is fully accredited by the Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO), the nation’s oldest and largest hospital accreditation agency.
