- SMART SCORE:
The key to heart disease is early detection. Ultrafast CT scanning is done in about 10 minutes with essentially no preparation. It represents a significant advance in the non-invasive evaluation of blockages in the heart arteries. The Smart Score CT scan is quick, easy, and a relatively inexpensive technique.
MRI
Magnetic resonance imaging provides much more detailed and clear images of body structures than can be obtained with x-rays. KSRC uses an open MRI for the very best in diagnostic services. The Hitachi AIRIS II open MRI unit is designed for greater patient comfort, without the closed-in feeling of traditional MRIs. The exam time is also reduced with the Hitachi MRI.
