Sylvan Grove Hospital is a critical access hospital serving residents of Butts County. We operate a 24-hour emergency department with four trauma rooms, two monitored beds for heart patients and two dedicated suture rooms. The emergency department is equipped to handle moderate and minor emergencies. If needed, minor emergency patients can also be seen in our adjacent Family Care Clinic. For persons needing major emergency care, we can provide immediate care until the patient is able to be transferred to a larger facility.Our swing-bed program allows patients who need extended care to remain at the hospital rather than being transferred to a long-term care facility.
