We’ve grown and added new services to meet the needs of our growing community. We provide a broad range of services, including 24-hour emergency care with Fast Track service, maternity and the only Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit in north Miami-Dade County offering full time neonatologists, specially trained neonatal nurses and respiratory therapists to care for the most critically ill newborns. We also offer specialized centers, including the C. Gordon Griffith Cancer Center, an American College of Surgeons-accredited community cancer center that offers high dose rate, Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy, and X-Knife radiotherapy. In addition, our Creole- and Spanish-speaking representatives are available to help patients before, during and after their stay. North Shore Medical Center is fully accredited by the Joint Commission, the nation’s oldest and largest hospital accreditation agency.
