Columbia Hospital was founded in 1975, and in 1993 was acquired by HCA-Hospital Corporation of America, the nation’s largest healthcare provider.
Columbia Hospital is a 250-bed acute care hospital and is accredited by the Joint Commission and the American Osteopathic Association. In addition, it is a primary teaching affiliate of Nova Southeastern University and a founding member of the Consortium for Excellence in Medical Education.
Columbia Hospital employs approximately 650 people and has a medical staff of over 400. Columbia Hospital is dedicated to serving our community by offering free physician lectures throughout the year as well as sponsoring health fairs and screenings to local organizations and companies.
