By choosing to volunteer at Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center you will be helping us to achieve our goal of continuously improving not only the quality of our medical care, but also the quality of our service to our patients, our visitors, and to each other.
Although, many of the hospitals services are performed by its professional staff...doctors, nurses, technicians, there are many activities which do not require specialized background, yet contribute to the "total care" of the patient. All roles affect patients and their families in direct and vital ways, no matter how remote from patient care these roles may appear.
It is in these areas that volunteers make an important contribution. The generous gift of your time, talent and enthusiastic assistance frees the staff to devote its time to patient care giving comfort and peace of mind to both the patient and his/her family.
