Termination of Probation

Action Taken:

Inquiry Panel B has terminated the 1999 Stipulation and Final Agency Order of the Physician.

The Physician's license has been restored to an active, restricted status.

Nature of Complaint:

Inquiry Panel B of the Colorado State Board of Medical Examiners reviewed invormation which raised concerns that the physician may not be able to practice medicine with reasonable skill and safety to patients.

Action Taken-Interim Practice Agreement:

The physician is required to have a chaperone physically present whenever the physician is with a female patient in an examination room. The physician shall document the name of the chaperone in the patient's chart for each appointment.

Nature of Complaint:

This is a non-disciplinary action.

Action Taken:

The physician has entered into an Interim Cessation of Practice Agreement in lieu of suspension with the board.
