He completed his residency at The University of Chicago under the chairmanship of Dr. Ralph Weichselbaum. He received special training with world renowned Radiation Oncologists like Professor Bernard Pierquin, Professor Brigit Van Derwerf Messing, Professor Sam Hellman, and Dr. Lionel Cohen. He served as an Assistant Professor at the University of Chicago for five years during which he was active in clinical research and published a number of articles.
