He is board certified in Orthopaedic Surgery and has earned a Certificate for Added Qualification for Surgery of the Hand. Dr. Pedro K. Beredjiklian graduated from Haverford College in 1988 with a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry. In 1992, he earned his M.D. from the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. After graduation from medical school, he completed an Internship and Residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania. Ultimately, he completed a fellowship in Hand and Microvascular Surgery at the Hospital for Special Surgery at Cornell Medical Center in New York. Upon completing this training in 1998, he was appointed Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania. In 2006, he was promoted to Associate Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and an active member of many Orthopaedic Societies including the Association of Bone and Joint Surgeons, the American Orthopaedic Association and the American Society for Surgery of the Hand. He is on the editorial board of several journals, including the Journal of Hand Surgery and Clinical Orthopaedics and Related Research. He has authored more than fifty peer reviewed articles, edited three textbooks, as well as numerous book chapters in the areas of Hand and Orthopaedic Surgery. He sees patients at Rothman Institute’s Voorhees, NJ, Center City, and Media, PA locations.
