Dr. Ally received her M.D. degree from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. The Ontario native then completed her residency in radiation oncology at Howard University Hospital in Washington, D.C., where she served as chief resident from 2003 to 2005. During this time, Dr. Ally was recognized with Howard University's “Outstanding Resident of the Year” and “Resident Patient Care” awards. Other distinctions include the RSNA Resident / Fellow Research Award and the Seattle Prostate Brachytherapy Fellowship, where she studied new techniques for permanent and high-dose prostate implants.
The American Board of Radiology has board-certified Dr. Ally in radiation oncology.
Continual technological innovations that improve patient care and outcome make radiation oncology a particularly rewarding field for Dr. Ally. She also enjoys coordinating care with other specialists at Intercommunity Cancer Centers (in Leesburg and Lady Lake, Florida) to ensure that each patient receives the best and most personalized treatment plan. Her priorities as a physician include helping her patients understand their disease, setting treatment goals, and minimizing side-effects; in doing so, she aims to address all aspects of their well-being.
