Patient / Medical Philosophy: Dr. Michael Ross is a non-operative sports medicine physician. He has served as the team physician for multiple professional cycling teams and has cared for Olympic athletes from at least 3 countries. He has served as the medical director and race doctor for the Philadelphia International Cycling Classic since 1999.

Dr. Ross received his BA in Psychology from Tufts University and his Doctor of Medicine from Mount Sinai School of Medicine. He completed a residency in Emergency Medicine at the University of Connecticut and a Sports Medicine Fellowship at Crozer-Keystone Health System. His experience with professional athletes culminated in writing two books: Maximum Performance: Sports Medicine for Endurance Athletes and Maximum Performance for Cyclists, a training book based upon sports medicine and sports performance research. Over the past several years, he has lectured and has presented award-winning research at national conferences.
