Our approach to neurosurgical care is based on partnering with patients and their familities to determine the safest and most effective means of treatment. All available non-surgical and surgical therapeutic modalities are considered. The highest premium is always placed on the individual's quality of life. We take pride in associating with top physicians in the region in their respective fields. While we have the latest technology at our disposal, technology is never utilized for its own sake. We consider establishment of trust and rapport with patients paramount to the ultimate success of any therapy. We continue to advance the fascinating field of neuroscience through basic and clinical research.*

What is Neurosurgery?
Neurosurgery is surgery of the nervous system. A neurological surgeon, or neurosurgeon, is a specialist who is trained in surgery of the nervous system, and can perform surgery on the brain, spinal cord, or other parts of the nervous system. This specialist is sometimes called a brain surgeon. The neurosurgeon also works with patients to diagnose, evaluate, and treat diseases or disorders of the nervous system, and aids in critical care of patients before, during and after surgery.
