Dr. “Joe” Albergamo was born in Marrero, Louisiana. He graduated from LSU with a B.S. in Biology, and went on to medical school at LSU, New Orleans. His Internal Medicine Internship was completed at Ochsner Foundation Hospital in New Orleans. Also, an Internal Medicine Residency was done at Earl K. Long Medical Center in Baton Rouge. Dr. Albergamo is board-certified with the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is a member of AMA and the Louisiana State Medical Society. Dr. Albergamo joined The Baton Rouge Clinic in 1997.
