Patient / Medical Philosophy: Pedram Bral, MD is the Director of Minimally Invasive and Robotic Gynecologic Surgery at Maimonides Medical Center in New York City. He is the pioneer and only gynecological surgeon in Brooklyn and one of the few in the United States performing robotic gynecological surgery. Dr. Bral is dedicated to providing patients with the highest clinical care and the best surgical outcomes.

Dr. Bral joined Maimonides Medical Center and soon after developed the Minimally Invasive and Robotic Surgery Division in the Department. He has been actively involved in training and proctoring residents and other physicians in his division. Dr. Bral is a board certified gynecologist and has successfully performed many advanced laparoscopic and robotic cases including laparoscopic hysterectomies, robotic myomectomies and robotic pelvic reconstruction.

Dr. Bral completed his Post Graduate training at Downstate Medical Center and in gynecology at Maimonides Medical Center. He is a member of American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and American Association of Gynecological Laparoscopy.
