Mr. Hicks received a Bachelor's in Business and a Master's in Information Systems from Colorado State University, where he also was the recipient of the 2001 College of Business Distinguished Alumni Award and was selected by the College of Business as the Spring 2001 Commencement speaker. In 2000, Mr. Hicks was named Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year in the e-business category for the Rocky Mountain Region. Dave Hicks has been the driving force behind information technology and infrastructure development at HealthGrades, the leading independent healthcare ratings company, which runs one of the Internet's most-visited healthcare Web sites.
Dave Hicks has been the driving force behind information technology and infrastructure development at HealthGrades, the leading independent healthcare ratings company, which runs one of the Internet's most-visited healthcare Web sites. He has served in this capacity from its start-up in 1996, and is one of the original founders of the company.
As Executive Vice President, Mr. Hicks has strategic and operational responsibilities for HealthGrades' Information Technology, E-Commerce, Product Development and Internet Partnership groups. His contributions have been key to the growth and development capacity of HealthGrades. Mr. Hicks's past experience includes serving as Manager of Information Technology for the Association of Operating Room Nurses, from 1994 to 1996, where he was responsible for all information technology development; Manager of Financial Systems for Coors Brewing Company, from 1992 to 1994, where he was responsible for all technology within the Internal Financial Systems Department; and Manager of Internal Systems for Martin Marietta Data Systems, from 1982 to 1992, where he was responsible for developing proprietary billing systems and centralized data exchange and data warehousing. Dr. Collier has been an integral member of the HealthGrades leadership team for the last seven years. Her experience as Quality Improvement Consultant, VP & SVP of Medical Affairs, and current role as Executive Vice President and Chief Medical Officer has allowed her the opportunity to educate the public, providers, payers, employers and consumers on the important impact of consumerism and healthcare ratings, public profiling, transparency and accountability, and quality improvement and patient safety. As a nationally recognized speaker, Dr. Collier has spoken to many audiences including the Harvard Quality Colloquium, World Health Care Congress, CMS National Customer Service conference, the American College of Healthcare Executives, American Hospital Association, and the National Association for Healthcare Quality. She also has personally consulted with over 100 hospital organizations throughout the country developing quality improvement initiatives that have improved their clinical process, outcomes, medical staff relations, public profiling positions, competitive positioning, and quality of care while continuing to practice part-time as a hospitalist in Denver. Dr. Collier developed several new outcomes measurements for HealthGrades that are used by payers, business groups, insurers and consumers, and that provide more useful information to make informed choices about where to seek healthcare. Dr. Collier has authored several studies at HealthGrades, including First Time Preplanned and "Patient Choice" Cesarean Section Rates in the United States, HealthGrades Hospital Quality in America Study, and Patient Safety in American Hospitals, that have received significant public attention - including the Wall Street Journal, Newsweek, CNN, Time, Modern Healthcare and many others. In addition, she is the author of HealthGrades Guide to America's Hospitals and Doctors: Hospital Quality Ratings, Top Doctors, Expert Guides to Getting the Best Care. She was named to America's Top Physicians 2004-2005 by Consumers' Research Council of America. Prior to joining HealthGrades, Dr. Collier served as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Oklahoma-Tulsa in the Department of Internal Medicine. Dr. Collier holds a BS in Medical Technology from the University of Delaware. She is a graduate of UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, where she received her MD and is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. She completed her internal medicine residency training at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver, Colorado. After finishing residency, Dr. Collier obtained an MBA from the University of Colorado. |

Wes Crews joined HealthGrades in April 2009 as Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Crews guides the planning and execution of the Company's operational policies, objectives and initiatives to ensure that each business unit achieves its growth and profitability goals. To meet the organization's goals, Mr. Crews leads the development, communication and implementation of growth strategies and processes, working closely with HealthGrades' leadership team. Mr. Crews brings more than 20 years of online services and publishing experience to HealthGrades. He has served as CEO at three Internet information and software companies and held key operational leadership roles in a variety of publishing and online information businesses. His most recent position was as an executive vice president and general manager at onTargetjobs, a leading provider of online recruitment advertising Web sites with nearly 500 niche job boards in biotechnological, pharmaceutical, medical device, hospitality, nursing, physician, allied health, financial and local markets. Mr. Crews previously served as Chief Operating Officer at the Gale Group, a subsidiary of media conglomerate The Thomson Corporation, with responsibility for developing strategic plans and new business initiatives, and managing operational implementation to achieve growth strategies. Mr. Crews also held senior management positions at leading information services companies, including CEO, BioSpace; CEO, Infotrieve; executive vice president of Information Access Company; senior vice president and general manager of Hogan Information Services (First Data Corporation); and vice president of corporate development at DataTimes. Mr. Crews received a Bachelor of Business Administration with an emphasis on finance from the University of Oklahoma. |

Allen Dodge has served as Executive Vice President-CFO of HealthGrades since July 2006. Mr. Dodge oversees the development, management and reporting of the financial plan that links HealthGrades' strategic mission and vision to measurable financial goals. Mr. Dodge's responsibilities include all aspects of finance, accounting, investor relations and human resource functions.
During his years at HealthGrades, Mr. Dodge was Senior Vice President of Finance (since May 2001), Vice President of Finance and Controller (March 2000 - May 2001) and Corporate Controller (September 1997 - May 2000). Mr. Dodge has over 16 years of experience in accounting; his background includes various positions with Coopers & Lybrand, LLP in Los Angeles, California and Ernst & Young, LLP in Denver, Colorado. A graduate of U.C. Santa Barbara, Mr. Dodge is also a Certified Public Accountant. |

Andrea Pearson directs Internet strategy and operations for HealthGrades, the leading independent healthcare ratings company, which runs one of the Internet's most-visited healthcare Web sites. Ms. Pearson joined HealthGrades in December 2008 with a wealth of Internet strategy experience. She drives consumer and advertising Web business strategy and operations, as well as strategic content partnerships.
Prior to HealthGrades, Ms. Pearson served as Executive Vice President of Kaango, an online classifieds platform serving more than 200 newspapers and broadcast stations. In this role, Ms. Pearson was responsible for product development, client services, business development, finance and business planning. Prior to Kaango, Ms. Pearson was Vice President and General Manager of MapQuest.com. Under her direction as the chief strategist, monthly unique visitors to the site grew from 30 to 55 million and user satisfaction reached an 11-year high. She joined MapQuest in 2002 as senior product manager and was responsible for developing site features, managing metrics, research, marketing and user interface. Ms. Pearson was also responsible for developing and optimizing revenue from paid search and display advertising. Before MapQuest.com, Ms. Pearson spent ten years in key marketing/public relations positions, including DriveOff.com, where she developed and directed an auto dealer marketing program, which generated 3,500 memberships across 20 U.S. markets in just six months. She led the integration of the company into Microsoft's CarPoint when the companies merged. During her tenure with MSN CarPoint, Ms. Pearson served on the executive team and directed all private label licensing and affinity marketing partnerships, which resulted in a 10-fold improvement in conversion rates and lower marketing costs. |

Tod Baker serves as Senior Vice President for HealthGrades and directs its hospital advisory services. Mr. Baker's team of consultants works closely with hundreds of hospitals nationwide providing business-development strategies that increase profitability margins, boost patient volumes, and communicate clinical excellence.
Mr. Baker also leads the company's efforts to help hospitals effectively leverage the Internet in order to enhance their brand online and attract and retain patients. Mr. Baker recently served as HealthGrades' Senior Vice President of HealthGrades Connecting Point™, a program that provides hospitals and systems with online solutions to increase revenue through new patient referrals. In Mr. Baker's seven years with the company, he has created the nation's premier business-development and hospital-quality consulting programs. Through his hospital-quality efforts, clients receive physician-led, data-driven consulting assessment and implementation services that are based on clinical outcomes and best practices. HealthGrades' hospital consulting business has grown dramatically, from 40 client hospitals to more than 375 today. Mr. Baker's background includes more than 13 years of experience in hospital consulting, and he has personally worked with more than 150 hospitals and hundreds of physicians throughout the United States. Ms. Inhoffer Montes successfully met the strategic needs of hospital and health system clients in order to improve the future of healthcare. In the four years previous, Ms. Inhoffer Montes managed and maintained a six-state territory working directly with hospital and health systems' CEOs and senior leadership teams to effectively help improve patient experience quality metrics. Raised in Lehighton, PA, Ms. Inhoffer Montes graduated from Penn State University and holds a Bachelor's in Marketing with an emphasis in International Business. John Neal directs the business development and acquisition efforts for HealthGrades, the leading healthcare ratings company. From 2003 to 2007, Mr. Neal oversaw HealthGrades' consumer Internet initiative including product development, business development, and business strategy. Prior to joining HealthGrades, Mr. Neal was responsible for ServiceMagic, Inc.'s online and strategic business development initiatives. He co-founded and served as Vice President of Business Development and Acquisitions for Specialty Care Network (the predecessor to Health Grades, Inc.), an orthopedic practice management company, from 1995 through 1998. Prior to joining Specialty Care Network, Mr. Neal worked as an investment banker with Morgan Keegan & Company, Inc. Scott Shapiro directs the communications, marketing and branding efforts for HealthGrades, the leading healthcare ratings company. Mr. Shapiro has honed the public positioning of the company and communicated the value of HealthGrades' healthcare-quality information to employers, health plans, hospitals, physicians and millions of consumers through the news media and other venues.
Mr. Shapiro joined HealthGrades in 2005 after serving as a consultant to the company for three years. Prior to joining HealthGrades, Mr. Shapiro managed the New York office of Fenton Communications, the largest public-interest communications firm in the country. At Fenton he created large-scale communications programs for the American Lung Association, HealthGrades and other clients, and helped to write a series of speeches with a former Vice President. Mr. Shapiro joined Fenton after developing and implementing public relations strategies for Bristol-Myers Squibb, LifeMasters Supported SelfCare and others for the New York public relations firm Bratskeir & Company, which had acquired Mr. Shapiro's firm, Schneider|Shapiro Strategic Communications. As Schneider|Shapiro's president for five years, Mr. Shapiro led teams that: launched cable television's The Health Network; drove viewership for Discovery Health, PBS and The Learning Channel; revitalized American icon Welcome Wagon; made hospital quality a consumer issue for Solucient; and focused attention on environmental and energy issues for Columbia University, Evolution Markets and Cendant Corporation. During a sabbatical from Schneider|Shapiro in 1998, Mr. Shapiro served as the communications director for a hotly contested Congressional campaign that wrestled with healthcare, gun control and other domestic policy issues. Mr. Shapiro began his career with the Governor of New York State, serving in several positions before eventually directing a division of the Governor's New York City press office. Shapiro lives in New York City and is a graduate of New York University. |

Leslie S. Matthews, M.D. has served as one of HealthGrades' directors since December 1996. Since October 1994, Dr. Matthews has been an orthopedic surgeon at Greater Chesapeake Orthopaedic Associates, LLC, and since 1992, he has been the Chief of Orthopaedic Surgery and Residency Training Program Director at Union Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Quattrone has served in several capacities for General Motors, including General Motors Powertrain Vice President - Global Human Resources since January 2006, as General North America Vice President - Human Resources from June 2001 - December 2005 and General Director of Human Resources for General Motors North America Automotive Operations from 1995 to June 2001.

From March 2006 to November 2006 she served as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Levi Strauss & Company North America. Ms. Boland served as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of General Motors North America from December 2003 to February 2006, and Controller of General Motors North America from March 2002 to December 2003. From February 2001 to March 2002, Ms. Boland served as Group Director of Finance for General Motors North America - Manufacturing and Labor Relations.

Mats Wahlström
Mats Wahlström has served as one of our directors since March 2009. Mr. Wahlström is co-CEO of Fresenius Medical Care North America and President and CEO of Fresenius Medical Services. Mr. Wahlström has 25 years of experience in the healthcare field and 23 years of experience in the renal field. Prior to joining Fresenius Medical Care in 2002, he held various positions at Gambro AB in Sweden, including President and CEO of Gambro U.S. as well as CFO of the Gambro Group.
